Card for the Week of 4/26/21

Rebecca Campbell’s Starseed Oracle Deck

YOU’RE NOT FOR EVERYONE- Embrace your weirdness. Face your true north.

The world is filled with people who, no matter what you do, just won’t like you. But it’s also filled with those who’ll love you fiercely. They are your people. You’re not for everyone and that’s okay. Talk to the people who can hear you.

Don’t waste your precious time and gifts trying to convince others of your value – they won’t ever want what you’re selling. Don’t try to convince them to walk alongside you. You’ll be wasting both your time and theirs and will likely inflict unnecessary wounds that’ll take precious time to heal. You’re not for them and they aren’t for you; politely wave them on and continue on your way. Sharing your path with someone is a sacred gift – don’t cheapen it by rolling yours in the wrong direction.

Keep facing your true north.

Pulling this card means you’re being called to embrace your uniqueness, to own your weirdness. To let the world see who you really are. To reveal your multifaceted, multidimensional nature. To not dim your light according to who is in your presence. To own all parts of yourself so that your people – the ones who are the same as you – can recognize you when your paths cross.

Soul Inquiry: How can you embrace your weirdness and not care so much about what other people think?

THE SEAS OF MINTAKA- Seeing potential. Bring unconsciousness to light.

Mintaka is thought to have been a water-based planet containing the most crystal-clear waters you could ever imagine. So clear that you could see for miles and miles underwater.

The Seas of Mintaka card represents this crystalline clarity of potential and possibility. It’s about the ability and choice to see the potential in all people and situations. This could be one of your natural traits, or it could be a sign that what you’re currently doing has great potential. Mintakans are thought to have been a galactic race who saw the light in everything and everyone.

You may have received this card as confirmation that a situation or project has extreme potential and will reach fruition. If it appears in a spread, it’s a very positive sign that things are working out for the highest potential of all involved. It’s a very uplifting, light-filled card that brings great harmony, contentment, and positive outcomes.

According to the Carl Jung, ‘that which we do not bring to consciousness appears in our life as fate.’ When water appears in dreams and art, it often represents the unconscious mind. Pulling this card also means you may be called to bring to light any unconscious patterns of which you’re unaware. To look at them and see them clearly and consciously so they don’t appear in your life as fate. What unconscious patterns or behaviors are ready to be brought to the light of day?

Soul Inquiry:  How can you see the potential in a situation you’re facing? What unconscious patterns are you being called to bring to light?

The Great Severing – Mars energy. Anger. Conflict. Softening to love.

This is a shadow card: one that may feel confrontational. Don’t be afraid – it’s here to bring to the surface anything that’s standing in the way of letting love in. The warring planet of Mars is our constant reminder that it’s important to soften, forgive, and find our way back to love.

There are many things in the human experience that make it difficult for our heart and soul to stay open to the never-ending source of love. We’re all wounded and our unconscious wounds inflict wounds on others. It can feel like a never-ending dance we can never escape. If we aren’t careful, before long we’ll see the world as a scary, dangerous place where fear and anxiety roam free.

If this card surfaces, it could be for two reasons. Firstly, for you to acknowledge the difficult emotions, situations, conflicts, wounds, and fears that are causing you pain and anxiety. And secondly, for you to find your way back to love.

When we’re hurt it’s normal to close off our heart to the world. To let the painful experience confirm the agony of separation in earthly life. Soften and find your way back to love anyway. When fear, anxiety, and paranoia paralyze you, it’s normal to want to hide away from others and the world. Come out of your cave and soften your heart anyway. We’re all innocent children of God spinning our way around the world. Find a way to see the innocence in all people, especially yourself.

Soul Inquiry: How are you cutting yourself off from love? How can you soften toward those who’ve hurt you?⠀

I Remember- Soul plan. The fated life vs. the destiny life.

There was a moment before you were born when you chose the conditions of the life you’re living right now. When you plotted out these exact moments along the timeline of your life.

We live in a world of free will, and therefore these moments become our destiny only through saying ‘yes.’ The fated life is the one we were born into. The destiny life is the one our soul chooses, and it takes courage and faith. If you pull this card it’s because you’re likely now face to face with the choice to follow the destiny life over the fated life. To trust the path your soul is calling you toward – and to remember that this moment was prearranged on your life’s timeline.

You may find yourself at a crossroads. At a moment when you’re being called to make a decision: to keep walking the perfectly laid out path before you or choose the one less traveled. You may be facing a change of career, a new relationship, a difficult decision, or something else that requires courage and faith.

You’re being invited to remember your soul’s greater plan and to surrender to it. When you’re confronted with a path that’s undefined, it’s normal for doubt to rear its head. In fact, this is a certain sign that you’re facing your soul’s greater plan. Every hero, in his or her life journey, comes eye to eye with doubt. The only way around it is through it. It’s all part of the larger plan.

Soul Inquiry: What are you being called to do to surrender to your soul’s plan?
