What is Reiki? Reiki is a simple, natural and safe method of spiritual healing as well as self-improvement that everyone can benefit from. It has been effective in helping virtually every known illness and always creates a beneficial effect. It also works in conjunction with all other medical or therapeutic techniques to relieve side effects and promote recovery. We are alive because life force is flowing through us. Life force flows within the physical body though pathways called chakras, meridians. It also flows around us in a field of energy called the aura. Life force nourishes the organs and cells of the body, supporting them in their vital functions. When this flow of life force is disrupted, it causes diminished function in one or more of the organs and tissues of the physical body.
The life force is responsive to thoughts and feelings. It becomes disrupted when we accept, either consciously or unconsciously, negative thoughts or feelings about ourselves. These negative thoughts and feelings attach themselves to the energy field and cause a disruption in the flow of life force. This diminishes the vital function of the organs and cells of the physical body.
Reiki heals by flowing through the affected parts of the energy field and charging them with positive energy. It raises the vibratory level of the energy field in and around the physical body where the negative thoughts and feelings are attached. This causes the negative energy to break apart and fall away. In doing so, Reiki clears, straightens and heals the energy pathways, thus allowing the life force to flow in a healthy and natural way.
Can Reiki do harm? No, Reiki can never do harm. It always knows what a person needs and will adjust itself to create the effect that is appropriate for them.
What kinds of benefits will I receive? The improvements are endless. Reiki helps to balance our mind, body and spirit on so many levels. You may feel a sense of calm, feel more centered and grounded. Many have expressed a lighter feeling, as if a weight has been lifted, yet an increase in energy. A decrease in stress, anxiety and depression. It helps with focus, clarity, as well as awareness. Reiki also helps to alleviate physical pain. Hospitals now incorporate Reiki to help with surgical recovery and cancer patient treatments. From my own personal experience after about 25 years of smoking, I quit cold turkey with no side effects, very little cravings and no desire to ever smoke again. A lupus patients’ deep aches and pains were gone after just one treatment. Sugar cravings lessoned and gone. Synchronicities become more obvious. The benefits again are limitless.
What do I need to do? Very little, all I require is your full name, date of birth (and home address for house clearing) and an email address. For distance healings you let me know when is the best time for you to receive it. If you want to be in a calm state, I can do it as you sleep, as you take a bath, anytime (I just rather not have you driving while you receive Reiki). You will receive the healing no matter what you are doing.

Am I healed in one session or will I need more than one? This varies, many people notice a shift right away and continue to reap the benefits as their lives go on but just like a car that sometimes needs a tune up, it is always good to get your chakras cleared and balanced from time to time so they are operating at optimum health. We are all energy and affected by the energy around us, so you will know when you begin to feel off. Some people schedule appointments weekly, monthly, it really just depends.
How often can I book a session? This will vary from person to person and what needs to be healed.
How does distance healing work? I am a level 2 Reiki practitioner which allows me to send Reiki from a distance using a Distance Reiki symbol and the law of correspondence. The healing will work just like a full in person treatment from a distance, with exactly the same effectiveness as if you were with me and I am carrying out a hands on treatment.
What does a reading look like from you? Within 24-48 hours I compile an email with all the intuitive information I received during the healing session (broken down by each emotional center/Chakra). Each chakra relates to different emotions that you may have been holding onto since you were a child or from past lifetimes, that connect to the organs within our body. I will include any messages that may be helpful, sometimes a personal mantra/affirmation from your higher self that will help you. As well as a 3 card reading that gives you extra guidance and insight to let you know where you have been, where you are now and what actions will help to guide you on your path.
What if I don’t want the reading just the healing? I will never make anyone do anything they are not comfortable with. The impressions and information I receive allows me to be the witness to the healing, as I hold space for you to self-heal. Sometimes just knowing what has come up is part of the actual healing so you know what you have been holding onto for so long. From personal experience what has come up for me during Reiki sessions has been so profound and helpful making me aware of how I have been repeating the same unhealthy patterns.
If you heal me am I done? Will I be cured forever? This is up to you and a higher power of your own understanding. I believe Reiki can do wonders and has so many benefits. I’ve seen many miracles take place. I also believe healing happens on many levels so with a combination of Reiki and you doing your own inner work, the benefits can be limitless.
Can you help mentor and guide me beyond Reiki sessions? Yes, absolutely. Again Reiki on it’s own can have a profound affect but I would love for you to combine this with self-care, meditation practices and tools.
